Japanese Language Class for Foreign Residents

PartⅠ& PartⅡ =Tuesdays and Thursdays, from September 27th through December 6th.
(total of 20 classes) *without 11/3

PartⅢ =Monday and Wednesday, from September 26th throught December 7th.
(total of 20 classes) *without 10/10, 11/23

Morning Class: 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Afternoon Class: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Evening Class: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Part1=for those who want to learn Japanese for the first time (morning, afternoon and evening classes)
Part2=for those who can write hiragana and katakana (afternoon and evening classes)
Part3=for those who know everyday conversational Japanese (afternoon and evening classes)

Tuition: 7,000 Yen (class fee=5,000 Yen textbook fee=2,000 Yen)

For each class, 12 foreign residents who live or work in Shinagawa

※ Following classes are reception has been closed
Evening Part Ⅰ & Evening Part Ⅱ

How to apply:
Fill out an application for, on SIFA's Web site or send a postcard or fax to SIFA
with the name of the class (including class time [morning, afternoon, evening]
and part[Ⅰ, Ⅱ, or Ⅲ], your name(with furigana), address, age, sex, and your nationality.

On-site babysitting:
For 2-year-olds to preschoolers. Up to children for each slot (First 2 applicants will get a spot for the term after payment)

Babysitting fee:
5,000 yen per term (insurance included;no snacks or drinks will be provided.)

※ Depending on the infection status of COVID-19, it may be an online class.
