Spring Japanese Language Class for Foreign Residents


Dates:
Part1 & Part2 =Tuesdays and Thursdays, from April 16th through June 27th.
(total of 20 classes) *without 4/30,5/2

Part3 =Monday and Wednesday, from April 15th through July 1st.
(total of 20 classes) *without 4/29,5/1,5/6
         ※Orientation will be held from 18:30 on Thursday, April 11th. (Shinagawa City Office 3rd Bldg. 6F, 2-1-36 Hiromachi)


Morning Class: 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Afternoon Class: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Evening Class: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.


Courses:
Part1=for those who want to learn Japanese for the first time (morning, afternoon and evening classes)
Part2=for those who can write hiragana and katakana (afternoon and evening classes)
Part3=for those who know everyday conversational Japanese (afternoon and evening classes)


Tuition: 7,000 Yen (class fee=5,000 Yen textbook fee=2,000 Yen)


Eligibility:
For each class, 16 foreign residents who live or work in Shinagawa
*Please apply once per person.


How to apply:
Fill out an application for, on SIFA's Web site or send a postcard to SIFA
with the name of the class (including class time [morning, afternoon, evening]
and part[1, 2, or 3], your name(with furigana), address, age, sex, and your nationality.


Nursery service: available
・Preschoolers for around two years of age up to elementary school entrance. For participants during the lessons of each time slot up to two.
・5,000 yen for 20 lessons. Please apply for it at the same time of your registration for the class.
